Attention Compression
A model for reducing cognitive load in information-dense environments without reducing the awareness needed to act.
Operators in information-dense environments — logistics command centres, clinical dashboards, financial trading floors — are not limited by access to data. They are limited by the cognitive cost of processing it. More information does not produce better decisions; it produces slower ones, or none at all. The scarce resource is not the signal but the attention available to receive it.
